I don't know about you guys...but, I fucking LOVED Trollhunter. Like...really, really loved Trollhunter. Well...guess what? That's right! André Øvredal is back with The Autopsy of Jane Doe!
We've been hearing all kinds of great things about The Autopsy of Jane Doe since it screened at the recent Fantastic Fest. I say that we've been hearing all kinds of great things because after over 5 years of doing Film Deviant here...well...we're still only Film Deviant and we don't get invited to go to fancy film festivals like that....so, here we are. I hope I don't sound like I'm bitter or anything...because, I don't mind not being able to go to things like Fantastic Fest...really, I don't. I mean...after all...it gives me more time to do things like knitting my mohair sweater vests and working on my awesome ant farm. You should totally take a gander at my ant farm. It's coming along quite nicely. As are my mohair sweater vests. So rad.
Anyway...here's a nice Red Band trailer for The Autopsy of Jane Doe...
Pretty sick, right?? If you noticed...the standard "Green Band" trailer was also included in that video. Don't you just love it when you ask for a Red Band trailer and you get both that one and the Green Band? Film Deviant is pretty cool, huh? Just not cool enough to be invited to Fantastic Fest. Anyway...The Autopsy of Jane Doe stars Emile Hirsch, Brian Cox, Ophelia Lovibond...and Olwen Catherine Kelly as the deceased secret-hiding Jane Doe. The film comes out December 21st. Pretty sure that Rogue One owns most of December...but, I'm definitely gonna give this one a look, too!
