FOREIGN HORROR: Dog Soldiers (2002)

 

In the mood for a great foreign werewolf film with some badass acting and awesome practical FX?

 

Dog Soldiers  is my favorite Neil Marshall film. While I love The Descent, Centurion and Doomsday as much as the next guy...Dog Soldiers  stands out as a feature debut from a talented fan of the genre that shows great promise. I won't disagree that The Descent  is a much more polished and layered film. But, if you're looking for an adrenaline-pumping genre flick with old-school sensibilities....then, this one is the real deal Holyfield. Also...who doesn't love 'em some Sean Pertwee??
