AND THE WINNER IS...FILM DEVIANT!

So, I woke up this morning...got myself a grande chai tea latte...went to my day job just like any other day. Pretty much hated my day...just like any other day. Skipped lunch on account of too much work. Went to my usual pilates class. Then drove home after a long day only to notice that...I WON A FUCKING AWARD!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sorry for the unprofessional language...but, I never win anything. I once entered a contest where the rules were simple...if you enter...you win. And I still lost! I don't ever play the lottery...because, well, I'm a bonafide loser. So, you can imagine my sheer surprise and joy when this award was bestowed unto me. I was so ecstatic that I framed the thing and hung it over my fireplace! But, anyway...much like everything else in life...there are rules...

I guess I'm supposed to write 3 interesting facts about myself now. Well...ummm...lemme see...

1) I grew up in the same town as Lizzy Borden. Lizzy Borden took an axe. She gave her mother 40 whacks. When she saw what she had done. She gave her father 41.

2) I have an unhealthy obsession with Asia Argento.

3) I once worked as a clerk in an adult video store and got held up one night by a guy with a huge buck knife. He pretty much cleared out the cash register (the real money was in the safe in the back) and demanded a big double-dong dildo on display behind the counter on the wall. He told me that he wanted it as a souvenir. (Check 3)

I don't really follow too many blogs...because I'm afraid that I'll start writing like them and ultimately lose my sharp wit and cutting edge style. But, I'll attempt a list of the ones that I do follow...

Jill Kill is seriously one of the best genre personalities I know. She loves horror and her critques are both intelligent and thought-provoking. Her sole purpose in life is to become a powerful super villainess. How can you not love that?? Please stalk her.

Fangirl Sarah is a regular fixture here on Film Deviant. I absolutely adore her in every way. She is the true GoreWhore in every sense of the term. She WILL make you love her...or she will cut off your head. Please stalk her.

Drew Daywalt is 100 percent pure fucking awesome! He WILL give you nightmares...whether you like it or not. He's the director of many short films with the sole intention of scaring the holy ghost out of you. He directed a few episodes of the upcoming MTV series Death Valley. Please stalk him.

GhoulHectic is a clown of many talents. He inspires joy and lunacy wherever he is. Whether it be Germany...or London...or the Sunset Strip. He's a pure entertainer and loves to show you a hell of a time. He's also a kickass drummer and can show you how to handle a harmonica. Stalk this Clownie.

Craig Medeiros is a talented artist who runs Mister Tengu. You can usually find him in his studio creating new demented paintings and landscapes of deviant insanity because the voices in his head told him to. He's the artist that created our awesome Film Deviant logo you see up top and a good friend of ours. Buy a t-shirt from him so he can eat. Please stalk him.
