BlinkyTM is the new short film by director Ruairi (pronounced RAW-REE not Roo-ahh-reeh) Robinson. It is fucking awesome. I wish it was more than 13 minutes long...I could seriously watch a 2 hour feature on this premise alone.
The film is about a young boy named Alex (played by Max Records from Where the Wild Things Are) who receives a sort of pet family robot as a gift. The two have such wonderful fun together. Soon...after growing tired of Blinky, the troubled Alex gets frustrated and treats the poor family robot badly. Blinky returns the favor.
The film is wonderful...and I can't wait to see more stuff from Robinson. Check it out below...
