Paranormal Activity 2 (2010)

The sequel to the 2009 breakout hit from director Oren Peli, Paranormal Activity 2 made all kinds of money for Paramount on the cheap last October. I fear that it has become the new Saw replacement for the Halloween season. This one has a new bag of tricks including a new director, a new couple and a young child. Watch it alone in the dark tonight. I dare you.

I Spit on Your Grave (2010)

A worthy remake to the notorious classic. This one has revenge scenes that make the first one look tame. Read my full review here. Now available on Disney BluRay/DVD.

My Soul To Take (2010)

Late Fee (2009)

I gotta see this one! The premise sounds fucking hilarious. A young couple find a remote rental shop and ask the clerk just as he's closing for his scariest movie he lets them rent the movie but it must be returned before midnight Halloween or they must pay the late fee. The young couple end up neglecting the return of the rental and soon realize that they must pay the late fee with their blood! Awesome.

Other releases include: the french film High Lane,  the original I Spit on Your Grave on BluRay and an interesting looking little film called Ominous.
