GIRLS OF GORE: Katrina Bowden

Katrina Bowden is a lovely human being. She's all of 23 years young and she embodies the essence of the young and wholesome American girl. If you are familiar with Film Deviant, then you should know that she played the character of Allison in Tucker & Dale vs Evil...a film that we loved the HELL out of last year. She also played Christy in the 2009 genre entry...The Shortcut. Katrina is an extremely busy girl as she'll be starring in two of the most anticipated genre films of the year. Piranha 3DD and Nurse 3-D.

Katrina was bestowed the honor of being named Esquire Magazine's Sexiest Woman Alive in 2011. Unfortunately, we're more acustomed to magazines like Hustler and Shaven Beauty around these parts...but, that's not to say that we're not extremely impressed that Esquire finally woke up to her hotness. We've known her to be hot since 30 Rock. What?? That's a funny show!

"I think it was the mixture of both the horror and comedy elements that made me fall in love with Tucker & Dale. The comedic nature of the script definitely struck me first, but I think what makes this such an incredibly smart movie is the way the horror and comedy is fused together where it really works and serves the story. Sometimes it's hard to get the two to work together, but with our movie I feel like Eli (director Craig) really managed both sides extremely well." -Katrina Bowden (interviewed by Dread Central)

So, Katrina is currently engaged to some "rocker" dude from Jersey...but, we won't hold that against her. She's a super talented actress who happens to be super hot, as well. Two qualities that we love around here. We seriously can't wait to see what she has in store for us in Piranha 3DD and Nurse 3-D...both films coming out this year. Until then, Katrina Bowden can be found here as an honorary member of our GIRLS OF GORE.

Love,

Film Deviant
